Our activites in Senegal – Dakar
Our head office with shop and warehouse is located in downtown Dakar on the premises of the Media Centre, a training center for film and media professionals.
We have completely renovated the building, installed windows and doors, of course with power supplied by our own solar system.
In October 2011 the official inauguration ceremony took place in our new office.(click the photo, please)
Dakar is also an important market for us. The energy crisis hits the capital really hard. Every day blackouts plague the city for hours.
In the meantime the immense frustration leads to regular demonstrations, some of which can also be violent.

The region Dakar also includes the area of Sangalkam in which we operate for several months.
Sangalkam is about one hour's drive from Dakar, and has no electricity at all.
